The show will premiere on ETtoday at 21:00 on May 14 (Fri) and will be broadcast on JET TV from 18:00 to 19:30 every Saturday evening. Eastern Group also has set its sights on stay-at-home food business opportunities during the pandemic, and has enlisted the outstanding chefs from the first season of “CooKing” to endorse the Eastern Farm-CooKing cooking kits. The Eastern Group also has set its sights on the stay-at-home food business opportunities during the pandemic, and has enlisted the outstanding chefs from the first season of “CooKing” to collaborate on recipes and endorsements for the Eastern Farm-CooKing cooking kits. President Gary Wang of Eastern Group estimates that the annual revenue of Eastern Farm cooking kits is expected to reach NT$50 million, and the total revenue of ETMall cooking kits is expected to exceed NT$500 million in 2021.

“CooKing” is another large-scale IP of the Eastern Group after “Jungle Voice.” President Gary Wang and well-known program producer Wang Wei-Chung are working together again this season to create a new model of Taiwanese online programs. In addition, Eastern Group is also taking advantage of the stay-at-home cuisine trend, as Eastern Farm and the contestants of the first season of “CooKing” have collaborated to launch six co-branded cooking kits, which will be sold for the first time live on ETMall Shopping Channel 46 from 21:00 to 21:40 on May 11 (Tue).

President Gary Wang said that there are very few companies that are willing to invest as much as Eastern Group. This time, the company is willing to invest in the second season of “CooKing,” not only to encourage young people to pursue their dreams, but also to seize the post-pandemic stay-at-home food business opportunities. Therefore, ETMall is launching the co-branded cooking kits to use the popularity of the famous chefs in “CooKing” to boost the sales of our products. Due to the pandemic, ready-to-eat food business opportunities soared last year. The annual production value of cooking kits was estimated to be more than NT$46 billion. According to Gary Wang, the biggest advantage of Eastern Group is the integration of its resources. Through the combination of “new media” and “new retail,” as well as large-scale IP promotion, coupled with the post-pandemic environment, it is expected that the sales of cooking kits will be driven by promoting them on the ETMall TV Shopping channels.

Out of the 2020 revenue of ETMall’s cooking kits, which surpassed NT$400 million last year, over 250,000 bowls of Regent Beef Noodles were sold, generating over NT$60 million in revenue. A-Yi Abalone also had a great sales performance from the Lunar New Year and Mother’s Day to the Mid-Autumn Festival, and other major festivals last year, no less than the Regent Beef Noodles. Gary Wang said that this year, thanks to the collaboration with CooKing, the company is expecting to see a revenue of more than NT$500 million.

Eastern Commerce Company (Eckare) top management, including General Manager Chen Mei-Chi and CEO Charley Kuo, also attended the CooKing press conference and strongly supported the Eastern Farm cooking kits. General Manager Chen Mei-Chi said that Eckare has been rapidly developing, achieving a new high in the first quarter sales. In addition, this year’s goal is to reach NT$6 billion. CEO Charley Kuo believes that cooking kits have become a trend in recent years and is optimistic about the investment and development of the Group’s co-branded cooking kits with CooKing. Eckare will also support the promotion of the Eastern Farm cooking kits.

The Eastern Farm-CooKing cooking kits come in six flavors, including Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin, Japanese-Style Curry Chicken, Stewed Pork, Szechuan Spicy Chicken, Italian Pasta Sauce-Clam and Seafood, and Italian Pasta Sauce-Tomato and Mushroom. The cooking kits will premiere on Channel 46 live from 21:00 to 21:40 on May 11 (Tue). The TV Combo will include all six flavors and three kits each, for a total of 18 kits, at the special debut price of NT$990. Stay tuned to ETMall to purchase your kit.
