The opening ceremony of the new Kaohsiung headquarters of Eastern Global New Network Marketing (Eckare) was held at the Cathay United Financial Building this morning. More than 200 people arrived at the event early in the morning, while local performance groups from Kaohsiung were also arranged to give blessing drum and dragon dance performances. Turnips and pineapples, which symbolize good fortune, were presented at the prayer of blessing, while a red banner with the words “Join Hands with Eastern to Achieve Success in Life” was also unfurled during the celebration. In his speech, President Gary Wang of Eastern Group said that it has only been three years since the founding of Eckare, but its performance continues to reach new heights. After the establishment of the headquarters in Kaohsiung, it will not only provide more complete education and training, but also create local employment opportunities, and give the residents of Kaohsiung better opportunities to earn money, meaning they don’t need to move north to seek jobs!
Since its founding in 2017, Eckare has achieved excellent results for three consecutive years. In its second year of operation, it had already become one of the top 20 direct sales companies in Taiwan. Despite the outbreak of the pandemic, this year’s overall performance has not been affected, instead sales have continued to rise, with monthly revenue exceeding a record-breaking NT$100 million. We will take on the challenge to reach quadruple growth for this year’s performance, targeting NT$1.5 billion. In order to achieve this target, Eastern Global New Network Marketing has been setting up bases, of which the headquarters in Kaohsiung was inaugurated today. The ribbon was cut with a pair of golden scissors at the auspicious hour of 11:15 this morning (11/8) together by Gary Wang, president of Eastern Group; Charley Kuo, executive director and CEO of Eckare; Wang Shi-Jun, CMO of Eckare; Tsai Chong-Ying, business director of Eckare; and Chou Tsi-Ling and Tsai Meng-Fen, crown distributor representatives of Eckare.
Gary Wang, president of Eastern Group, said in his address that the revenue of Eastern Group was NT$27 billion last year and that it will exceed NT$35 billion this year. Three years ago, the revenue of Eckare was NT$100 million in the beginning of its operations; last year it was NT$400 million; and this year it will exceed NT$1.5 billion. Such excellent performance is due to the joint efforts of the distributors. The establishment of the Kaohsiung headquarters shows our determination to take root in southern Taiwan. We will provide complete education and training in the future, not only to bring the people of Kaohsiung better opportunities to earn money and continue to achieve excellent performance, but we will also continue to launch good products to change the outside world’s impression of direct sales. We invite everyone to “Join Hands with Eastern to Achieve Success in Life” and realize the dream of wisdom and wealth together! By 2025, we hope that we can reach NT$38 billion, with a market share of over 40%, in the Taiwan market.
In addition to Eckare, Eastern Group is also investing in Kaohsiung. Gary Wang said that he is very optimistic about Kaohsiung, and the annual meeting of Eckare will be held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center this year. Furthermore, Eastern Group is also willing to cooperate with the vision of the Kaohsiung City Government to provide local employment. At present, the Group headquarters in Kaohsiung has nearly more than 6,611 square meters of office space and employs more than 500 personnel. We are optimistic about Kaohsiung and will move our R&D center to Kaohsiung, so that the youth of the National University of Kaohsiung will not need to go north to seek job opportunities.
