Riding on sunshine and full of love, “Papa Eastern” Gary Wang visited Hong Ye Primary School in Wanrong Township of Hualien County, which he became acquainted with through the “Breakfasts Made of Love” program. Together with the Truku children, they tried traditional archery and watched Truku dance performances during an afternoon filled with fun and laughter. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Eastern Charity Foundation, Chairman Gary Wang of the Eastern Charity Foundation built the world’s first blue Christmas tree of masks, which is also currently the largest Christmas tree of a private enterprise. The Christmas tree is standing proudly in the headquarters building of Eastern Group in Zhonghe. Together with the famous Taiwanese tennis sisters Chan Yung-Jan and Chan Hao-Ching, as well as eight children, Gary Wang lit up the Christmas tree of masks in front of the Eastern Group Zhonghe headquarters. The 10-meter-tall Christmas tree, made of 3,000 masks, was first revealed in the dreamy NB blue tone symbolizing Eastern Natural Beauty, and has a super heart-warming name—“Natural Beauty Pray for Peace Christmas Tree.”

ET New Media Holdings celebrated the 9th anniversary of ETtoday Co., Ltd. and the 2nd birthday of ETtoday Pets today (11/9). The opening ceremony of the new Kaohsiung headquarters of Eastern Global New Network Marketing (Eckare) was held at the Cathay United Financial Building this morning. More than 200 people arrived at the event early in the morning, while local performance groups from Kaohsiung were also arranged to give blessing drum and dragon dance performances. Domestic e-commerce operators have been successively announcing their Q3 results last week. Public data shows that the EPS of ETMall—a subsidiary of Eastern Media International Corporation (2614)—have reached NT$9.62 for the period from January to September this year. This is ahead of Momo.com Inc.’s EPS of NT$9.51, making ETMall the most profitable new retail virtual channel for shareholders. Gary Wang, chairman of ETMall, said that the company started to launch its self-operated retail services five years ago, and now it is entering the harvest season. The services have accounted for 30% of the revenue this year, which is one of the main sources of profit. Q4 is the peak season for e-commerce. ETMall is fully prepared to maintain a strong growth and will strive to exceed NT$11.4 in EPS for the year!

The export of agricultural and fishery products has been affected by the pandemic this year.
